     Welcome to Garretson School Library!  My name is Dorothy Williamson, the K-12 Librarian at Garretson School.  I have worked here as Librarian since 1997, after earning my Elementary Education Degree from USF.  I truly enjoy my job, especially watching the students progress in their reading abilities and book choices as they mature.  

      I believe the importance of reading cannot be overrated; as I tell the students,  "The more you read, the smarter you get!"
